On Monday 28 September from 3 - 4pm at the Museum of Liverpool, we’ll be joined by Will Hutton, the Rt Hon Liam Byrne MP alongside Sarah Kerr and Will Snell to discuss Britain’s Wealth Gap: How inequality is reshaping Britain, and what to do about it.
At a time when wealth is shaping our lives more than ever, and the growing wealth gap is fuelling political fragmentation and volatility, we’ll bring together leading voices to set out a bolder agenda.
Following that event, we’ll host Good Growth in Towns from 4:15 - 5:15pm in the same room, in partnership with the Labour Towns Group. This event will explore how the Government’s agenda of good growth can reach every part of our country, including our town economies.
We’re very fortunate to be joined at this event by the Rt Hon Lisa Nandy MP, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, alongside Chair of the Labour Towns Group & MP for Stafford, Eccleshall & The Villages Leigh Ingham MP, Professor Will Jennings, Katie Schumecker from JRF and Cllr Eamonn O’Brien, Chair of the Local Government Association & Bury Councillor.
